The seven seals are found in Revelation chapters five, six and eight. As each of the seven seals is broken a picture or representation of events to take place on the earth during that seal period is described.
Jan 4, 2022 · The seven seals are one of a series of end-times judgments from God. The seals are described in Revelation 6:1–17 and 8:1–5. In John’s vision, the seven seals hold closed a scroll in heaven, and, as each seal is broken, a new judgment is unleashed on the earth.
The seven seals of Revelation begin Jesus’ wrath against the wicked on the Earth. Seals 1–4 bring judgment upon the wicked now. Seal 5 is a cry for vengeance by Jesus’ people. Seal 6 previews the trumpet and bowl judgments. Seal 7 previews Jesus’ return and connects all judgments to the Lamb.
The fourth seal can be found in Revelation 6:7-8 and reads as follows… “So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him.
The book of Revelation is outlined with a sequence of four sets of symbols: seven seals, seven trumpets, seven signs and seven bowls. Each symbol is used to describe God’s judgment upon sinful, Christ rejecting men and women of the earth.
The events pictured by the first four seals—religious deception, war, famine and pestilences—have already been occurring. Listed as signs of Christ’s second coming and “the beginning of sorrows” (Matthew 24:8), these frightening events will intensify at the time of the end.
