Marlow ( / ˈmɑːrloʊ /; historically Great Marlow or Chipping Marlow) is a town and civil parish within the Unitary Authority of Buckinghamshire, England. It is located on the River Thames, 4 miles (6 km) south-southwest of High Wycombe, 5 miles (8 km) west-northwest of Maidenhead and 33 miles (53 km) west of central London . Name.
- Marlow Bridge. Marlow has been a crossing point on the Thames since at least 1227. As traffic increased in the 19th century the town needed a new bridge to replace the old wooden one, and the civil engineer William Tierney Clark was hired to build it.
- Thames Path. The 184-mile trail next to the Thames passes through the riverside graveyard of All Saints’ Church in Marlow. You’re promised delightful scenery whether you head upriver towards Henley or down to Maidenhead.
