Siruthai (transl. Cheetah) is a 2011 Indian Tamil -language action thriller film directed by Siva, who is also one of its co-writers. It is a remake of the 2006 Telugu film Vikramarkudu, directed by S. S. Rajamouli. It stars Karthi playing dual roles, alongside Tamannaah Bhatia and comedian Santhanam.
'Siruthai' is the fifth film of Karthi and his second film with Tamannah after 'Paiyaa'. The films is said to have the right mix of fun, action, glamor, romance, comedy and sentiments. According to Karthi, 'Siruthai' is 70% of comedy and 30% action.
