Dec 2, 2022 · For all 96 episodes of the show’s run, Maureen’s character keeps her alien dad a secret with the help of her human mom, Donna. The show ended after season four, but not before leaving fans hanging forever on a cliffhanger when Evie’s parents are left stranded on each other’s planets.
Donna is unsure whether to reveal a lifelong secret to Evie: that her father is an alien living on a planet called Antareus. Before Donna can decide, Evie suddenly feels compelled to slowly touch her pointer fingers together.
All Therapists Are Muggles: Evie goes to therapy and brings her mom and dad, or at least, the glowing crystal through which her alien dad communicates. The therapist is very much a muggle but believes them and they appeal to doctor/patient confidentiality to keep their secret safe.
On her 13th Birthday, Donna tells Evie that her father does not work for the Government but is actually an alien from another planet. She learns after that that she has the ability to Freeze Time and later develops other powers and just like other teens dealing with their crazy mixed up teenage years, so does Evie.

The series ended on a cliffhanger in the Season 4 finale, where Troy came to visit and Donna took his place by accident and ended up in Antareus, leaving Troy stranded on Earth.
