Thumper in VR is next level amazing. With the constant drumming of the repetitive beat, and game design that requires your full attention, makes it an easy way to lose a few hours. I also find it easier to play on VR, much easier to judge distance.

The recent update to Thumper adds support for both HTC Vive and Oculus Rift via SteamVR. It includes Oculus SDK support and basic support for both Oculus Touch and Vive controllers. Of course, you can still play all nine epic levels (including PLAY+ mode) in both traditional 2D and VR mode.
Feb 27, 2023 · Visually, the game still looks great, though oddly, only the VR version has HDR support. If you're playing on a traditional TV, you'll have to settle for native 4K and a high refresh rate.
