    • They’re racist, sexist, homophobic, etc. Someone who’s prejudiced against other people — think people who express racist or sexist remarks — and don’t have any shame about it are really nasty people.
    • They’re an online troll. Online trolls can be crazy. If you see that your friend or partner is trolling people online and sending them threatening messages, it’s a scary feeling.
    • They treat you like garbage (and seem to love it). They seem to get off on making you feel as small and undervalued as possible, and it’s disgusting.
