Mar 31, 2013 · Berlin seems to be an up and coming city, I know it is a centre for popular modern culture, music, art etc, and now it's become europe's second biggest technology start up centre after London, all these factors combined will surely increase demand for high rise office and residential towers, good times for Berlin, try and break the Anglo and American monopoly on popular modern culture

May 10, 2011 · Wunderknabe. Berlin has 157 Buildings of 50 m or more and 342 of 40 m or more (thats more than Frankfurt). I think another reason for so few highrises or scrapers in Berlin (and Germany in general) is the costs of construction. For the money of one 100 m highrise in germany, you could get maybe 10 or 20 in China.
Mar 3, 2006 · 2. Compact arena including track. 3. Elegant roof with minimal visual obstruction. is remarkable. Just for the sake of this stadium, I would prefer Berlin hosting the 2024 SOG. Germany 2006 had some awesome stadiums but Berlin OS stands out in the pack and way too better than Alliance Arena also - This is my opinion.
Aug 2, 2018 · This shortage of space has now been fixed and the colonnades open for traffic: This part was used as interior space. All the colonnades together are from 1842 to 1878. This part had been the last part completed. A new stretch of columns was added in the 2010`s in front of the so-called James Simon Gallery. the art here is rotating.

Aug 2, 2018 · Many people and government officials involved in downtown reconstruction had been invited. The event seems to be a huge success. The event is called "Stadtmitte - Fest" and organized by "Stiftung Stadtmitte" organization: https://stiftung-mitte-berlin.de/. Surprisingly, many top noch officials actually came!
Nov 2, 2013 · Berlin already was building not enough apartments in the last couple of years. With the new rent freeze this will certainly get worse and it already shows a downwards trend and had its first victims. Due to expected missing rental incomes in the next years a couple of big cooperatives droped out of a project at the "Buckower Felder" with 900 apartments planned.
