Jun 18, 2015 · For 20 years neurologists have divided multiple sclerosis (MS) into four categories that are supposed to help patients get the right treatments. But a new theory argues that there are no distinctions between these groups, and suggests that MS is a single disease.
Dr. Krieger is an associate professor of neurology and director of the neurology residency program at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. He joined The Corinne Goldsmith Dickinson Center for MS as a fellow in multiple sclerosis after completing his neurology residency training at Mount Sinai.
