    • Rise and Shine – I am a big proponent of staying on-site for a first-visit to any of the Disney resorts, and Paris is no different. My recommendation here is staying at Sequoia Lodge, but if you have the funds, Disneyland Hotel can’t be beat (I assume) with its views overlooking the park.
    • Westward Ho! – Start your day by rope dropping Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, which is the most popular attraction at Disneyland Paris. You could always do this via Standby Pass later, but arriving first thing in the morning is the safe bet.
    • Fantastical Morning – I think you really can’t go wrong by starting the day in any castle park in Fantasyland, and Disneyland Paris is no exception. Like the rest, a big part of the reason to start here is because there are numerous attractions nearby one another, each of which can develop a moderate wait time–and those waits add up.
    • Adventure is Out There! – If you go by the park map, you might think this is a land you can quickly knock out by doing Pirates of the Caribbean and Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril.
    • Arrive As Early As Possible. If you want to make the most of your day at Disneyland Paris, arriving as early as possible is essential. Where you are staying will determine how early you can enter the parks.
    • Start Your Day In Walt Disney Studios Park. As much as you'll want to start your day gazing upon the beautiful Sleeping Beauty castle, we recommend you make the most of the morning's shorter queue times and start the day in Walt Disney Studios Park.
    • Time For A Quick Lunch. After a morning in Walt Disney Studios Park, we suggest heading out of the park for some lunch. As time is precious, we don't recommend a table service meal for lunch as the service across the parks tends to be a little slow.
    • Spend The Afternoon At Disneyland Park. What should you do in this park? Disneyland Park is a beautifully designed park. The Imagineers clearly spent a lot of time making this park feel special, so soak in the atmosphere as you walk down Mainstreet USA, especially if this is your first visit.

  2. I would start at Disneyland Parc, Phantom Manor and Pirates have 20 min waits pretty frequently, for Space Mountain you can expect a bit more queueing and BTM will be the busiest as it usually stays over 60min. Still I think you can do them all in a single day.

Are you thinking of planning a Disneyland Paris day trip? Here is everything you need to know to make sure you have the perfect day!

Disneyland Paris is just an hour away from central Paris by train. You just hop on the RER A train (tickets are €7.60 each way) and get off at the last stop, Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy.From the train station it’s just a two minute walk to the entrance of Disneyland! You can buy tickets for the RER at most Metro stations throughout Paris. If you are com...

The nice thing about Disneyland Paris is that it’s a lot smaller than Disney World in Florida. Instead of five parks, there are only two: Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park. Both of the parks are pretty small, and they are located just a five minute walk away from each other. So while you need at least a few days to a week for Disney Worl...

A one day ticket that will get you into BOTH parks will cost you somewhere between $78 and $114 depending on the date of your visit. (Prices in USD.) There are three different price classes: Mini, Magic, and Super Magic.Basically the prices change based on dates. On most weekdays, you can get a Mini ticket (the cheapest.) But on weekends and around...

If you can, going on a weekday is your best bet for a Disneyland Paris day trip. The tickets are usually cheaper and the parks are much less crowded! The exception to this is if you go during August (French holiday month) or around a big holiday like Christmas or Easter. The least crowded times of year to visit Disneyland Paris is fall (September t...

There are two parks at Disneyland Paris: Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park. Disneyland Park is the larger and more popular of the two, and has Sleeping Beauty’s castle. I recommend that you start your day at Walt Disney Studios Park because it’s really small and you can hit most of the rides in just a few hours. Around lunchtime, leave a...

If you’ve been to other Disney parks, you are probably familiar with FastPasses. They are free tickets that let you skip the line for a ride at a scheduled time. You don’t have to pay extra for FastPasses – they are included with your park admission. Disneyland Paris still uses the “old system” of FastPasses where you get a paper ticket from a kios...

Walt Disney Studios Park is where you should start your day and spend the morning before heading over to Disneyland Park around lunchtime. Here are my favorite rides at Walt Disney Studios Park that you cannot miss! Rides: 1. Ratatouille (FastPass) 2. Tower of Terror (FastPass) 3. Crush’s Coaster 4. Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster (FastPass) Walt Disney Stu...

There are so many more rides at Disneyland Park than Walt Disney Studios, so that’s why I recommend spending the majority of your day there! These are my favorite rides and attractions that I think everyone should do at Disneyland Park: Rides: 1. Hyperspace Mountain (FastPass) 2. Indiana Jones (FastPass) 3. Star Tours (FastPass) 4. Pirates of the C...

About half the attractions at Disneyland Paris are in French and half in English. This is a lot of fun, even if you don’t speak French. You will still recognize the songs and be able to follow along with the storylines if you’re a Disney fan, and the “plots” of attractions are all easy to understand. All of the employees at Disneyland Paris speak a...
