Over-the-Range Microwaves and Advantium Ovens require a minimum 66" mounting height from the floor to top of the appliance. The 66" from the floor dimension will allow approximately 13" between the cooktop surface below and the bottom, front of the Microwave.
The front edge of the microwave (measured at door) should sit at least 3" or more back on the counter or shelf to avoid accidental tipping. If located on the counter near a range, we recommend locating it at least 2 ft away.

May 13, 2020 · Most models are similar in height, so this isn't something you'll need to worry about too much. You need to make sure you have enough clearance space between the top of the microwave and any cupboards, though (usually at least 10cm, although it can vary between models, so check before you buy).
Most of the microwaves require around at least 3 inches all around, leave three inches of space between the walls and the top, sides, and rear of the microwave oven. But for this one if you can have at least 8 inches all around for safety reasons, and especially from the top since heat rises, will be great!
