The thirtieth series of Top Gear was officially announced on the 19th of February 2021 and aired on the 14th of March, 2021. The series once again features the presenting line up of Chris Harris, Paddy McGuinness and Freddie Flintoff.
A major change is the fact that the studio drive-in is now based at the BBC London's Television Centre, being the first time the show was not based at the Dunsfold Track and the first time Top Gear does not have a live audience.
•The presenters were spotted with a Ford Cortina, a Ford Fiesta Mk1 and a BMW 3 Series E21.
•McGuinness was seen driving an Aston Martin DB5, while Harris and Flintoff were seen using Renault 11s that were cut in half, for a James Bond tribute episode.
•The presenters were seen using a Vauxhall Monaro, a TVR Chimaera and a Ferrari 355 Kit Car.
•Flintoff was spotted being dragged on a runaway in Scotland by the Stig using an Ariel Nomad. The other two were spotted in a Land Rover Defender and a Mercedes AMG-G63.
•This series surpasses production of the original one with LeBlanc and Reid.
•This series is presented from London's Television Centre rather than the Top Gear studio at Dunsfold. No studio audience is present due to COVID-19 restrictions.
