Select from existing profiles or go to the YouTube Kids mobile app or youtubekids.com to set up a new profile. If you’re on a device with Google TV: Open the YouTube Kids app on your TV and click Get Started. Review the “Notice to Parents." If you agree, click “I agree." Choose a content setting for your child.
Tap BLOCK. In the dialogue that opens, select Block this video only, or select Block entire channel to block the channel associated with the video. Tap BLOCK. Enter the numbers that show on the screen or enter your custom passcode. Unblock individual channels from YouTube using your linked parent account.
Follow the steps below for blocking and unblocking channels. When using a supervised experience, your pre-teen is already seeing a limited set of videos based on their account’s content setting. If your pre-teen uses the same Google Account for YouTube and YouTube Kids, any channels blocked on YouTube will also be blocked on YouTube Kids.
