Spent some of the weekend sorting out the garage and found oodles of boxes of usable/watchable videos.

  5. May 18, 2009 · Have you tried the local Salvation Army, I'm fairly certain they took some stuff when we cleared my aunts house out in Kettering, although that was about 15 years ago. They may not take pillows, but blankets and sheets that can be washed I'm sure they'll take.

  7. Sep 23, 2024 · Usually they are referred to as Sally Ann shops (as originally most were for the Salvation Army) but the big one in the picture was for a diabetes charity. So all good. As for Niagara Falls - having grown up nearby I always figured it was over rated but visitors were always well impressed so I know it's a big attraction.

  8. Thank you for your understanding. Advice with council house costs after a death. Mother in law died last week. The council have told us if we dont clear her house out we will be charged 150 quid. We have took the few items that we are keeping for sentimental reasons , and as she didnt have much the rest is just junk.

  10. Aug 10, 2010 · The Salvation Army does exactly the same.. it uses a rag trader to collect unwanted clothes. The rag trader gives 58% of his income to the charity, but keeps 42% for himself. The Army chalked this up as "administrative costs".
