Oct 29, 2021 · Music cues are different, rightly-so deleted scenes are included, and there're numerous visual "enhancements" (like the cornea/eyeball nonsense or the Philosophy of Time Travel overlays) that convolute an already convoluted story. This is the worst version of Donnie Darko and I hate that it exists.

Another one, OutRun in Donnie Darko. There was also an homage to OutRun in some commercial in recent years but I don't remember what it was for. OP.

Followed by a "lull" and "underwhelming" second and third releases (despite them being great). A "return to form" after some 12-14 years of constantly making great music.
Jun 9, 2024 · I don't think that's what happened at all honestly. Messing with things caused the storm. By resetting to before anything at all changed it averts the storm. This is Donnie Darko. Like actually it's the exact same setup, sci-fi concept, and consequence/twist.

Jun 9, 2024 · Obviously a trailer is never enough to go on, and you have to imagine the game itself will have her grappling with the decision and maybe have external forces basically make it for her, but still, having lived through Donnie Darko, the idea that she'd be using her powers again to try to save someone is kind of a hard sell.

It overly uses slow motion to the point of tedium, it has a threadbare, retro video game tier plot, it's hammy and the cracks of the production are evident throughout.
