SAM is causing the issue because it's expecting to see a folder (global airports) that's no longer present in the custom scenery folder - it needs to be updated for v12 by the developer. The sim isn't the issue here just because Laminar changed something.
May 12, 2024 · This is a lightweight open source replacement for SAM's basic functionality: Jetway animation and VDGS and Marshaller guidance + custom animations. It is meant to be a drop in replacement for SAM, i.e. at startup it scans for SAM enabled sceneries and uses the original configuration files. Excerpt from 00_README.txt:

Sep 15, 2022 · Become a member of their discord channel as sometimes they will release the config out of schedule for your new aircraft. At least it is working with XP12. If you have Traffic Global as well then ensure you disable the SAM integration setting as it sometimes causes X plane to crash. 1.
Jun 13, 2020 · Just a sort of related query. I had the "old" SAM Library in my Custom Scenery. Recently I installed the SAM2Suite and installed the free items. I now have the old SAM Library in my Custom Scenery AND a new SAM Library in my Resources\Plugins\SAM\lib folder. Can I / should I now delete the old folder from Custom Scenery? Thankyou Dan
Apr 2, 2023 · If you using SAM Groundservice XP in combination with Navigraph simbrief, you can LOAD your A330-300 Aircraft with Passengers and Fuel and Cargo with this config-File. Copy to ..X-Plane 12\Resources\plugins\SAM\aircraft folder. Restart X-Plane 12, dispatch a fight to your destination and see whats happens. Be carefull:
Jan 18, 2022 · I can download SAM V3 from that link but the linux content manager cannot download or update anythimg. I only have Content Manager V1.4.3 and cannot find an updated version, so there is an incompatibility Edited October 21, 2022 by Cebif add information
Sep 8, 2022 · If you truly believe it is SAM causing the problem and have data to prove this then open a problem with Stairport. Posting your before and after scenery_packs.ini and a screen shot of your SAM settings screen may provide some valuable clues or at least allow a comparison with other experiencing the problem. Jan 27, 2023 · And the Gorund Handling window for xp12 shows the jetways greyed out, as if the plane isn't lined up. But I have even tried moving the plane around to find the "spot", and no go. It's only the A350 that doesn't allow the jetways to work, so that's why I'm trying to see if there is some special Flight Factor method to trigger jetways.
