An OLD LADY looks disapprovingly at Mr. Bean. He moves the flash to the rear of his pants and smiles. She turns snobbily and he gives her back a defensive sneer.
Jan 25, 2014 · The opening choir sings "Ecce homo qui est faba" which translates to "Behold the man who is a bean". While the word "Man" in English might allow for him to be a male alien, this is not really the case in the original Latin where the word "Homo" specifically implies sameness.
Feb 26, 2020 · I agree Mr. Bean appears to be autistic, although he is actually an alien... unless aliens can get autism too. He's an alien which is confirmed by the animated series, however, there's a childhood episode. But if we do base it off of the introduction of the live-action series, he dropped down from a spotlight which I assume was the alien's ship.

Jul 25, 2021 · Mr bean is funny, regardless of anyone that says otherwise. It is derivative of traditional silent film type gestural comedy. Similarly Jacques Tati, a French actor/ director started in silent film, I believe after the end of the need for silent, and had a similar Buster Keaton-esque sort of aesthetic. Blasphemy!

FanTheory Every episode, he's acting very socially inept which gets him into very awkward situations which leads me to believe it's a look into the life of a man who is undiagnosed and on the spectrum.
