Leo Parker (1925-1962) was an American jazz musician who played baritone saxophone and was one of the earliest bebop saxophonists. He recorded with Billy Eckstine, Dizzy Gillespie, Illinois Jacquet and others, and had a hit with "Mad Lad".
Leo Parker was a baritone sax player who combined R&B and bebop influences. He recorded with Blue Note in 1961 after a comeback from drug problems, but died of a heart attack at 36.
