Harold Adolphe Hecht (June 1, 1907 – May 26, 1985) was an American film producer, dance director and talent agent. He was also, though less noted for, a literary agent, a theatrical producer, a theatre director and a Broadway actor.
Harold Hecht (1907-1985) was a Hollywood producer who won the Academy Award for Best Picture for "Marty" in 1956. He also co-founded Norma Productions with Burt Lancaster and produced other classics such as "Sweet Smell of Success", "Separate Tables" and "Cat Ballou".
