Dr. Jared Kalu makes a surprise return to San Jose's St. Bonaventure Hospital with his billionaire patient. Meanwhile, Park must treat the man his wife had an affair with and try to forgive him.
•Chuku Modu comes back to reprise the role of Dr. Jared Kalu for the rest of the season.
•Lea is now 28 weeks pregnant, meaning that she is approximately 7 months pregnant. This means that about 4 months have passed since "Quiet and Loud."
•Jordan is 29 years old as she had an abortion when she was 18 which was 11 years ago.
•Jared decides to restart his residency at St. Bonaventure, becoming a first year resident again, this time on Shaun's team.
