Figure out which Naraka: Bladepoint character is best for you with our character tier list. We explain what each character does and how they stack up to the competition, along with what considerations you should keep in mind when using them.

It's worth bearing in mind that, regardless of where a character falls in a tier list or the community's popular choices, you can make any character work in Naraka.

Valda Cui's skill binds enemy movements and can buff attacks using various traps that she can place or that spawn during attacks. Used in the right combos, you can keep multiple enemies immobile for an extended period of time and continue whittling their health down, which is also extremely helpful to help your team set up combos.

Her kit isn't too complex to understand, and as you learn how to play her, you can make better and better use of the CCs she offers. She can also save teammates from a long range, and as her ultimate doesn't transform (V2), she can chase down enemies more easily.

The newest character, introduced in March 2023, Akos Hu is notorious for his extremely high mobility and potential to deal massive damage. He's great for aggressive play, and can stagger enemies easily, while being relatively straightforward to get to grips with as a new player.

Matari is an easy choice for one of Naraka's best characters. What her skills lack in impressive damage potential, they more than make up for with superior mobility, which is almost more important than strength in Naraka.

Her skill lets her teleport a short distance away, which gives you plenty of time and space to heal or escape if an encounter isn't going your way. With the exception of her second teleport, you can't teleport while under attack, so don't rely on Matari to get out of stun locks unless you've prepared in advance.

Matari's ultimate briefly turns her invisible while she's stationary and nearly invisible while moving. It leaves a faint outline, but if your enemy doesn't already know you're there, it's almost impossible to notice. It's the best stealth option in the game and, in the right circumstances, can finish an encounter before your enemy even knows what hit them.

Overall, a strong character and a great choice to pick up and learn as a beginner, but not as straightforward as some of the others on this list.

Yoto Hime dominated the battlefield from the time she first appeared, and long after Naraka: Bladepoint's launch, she remains one of the most powerful characters in the game. Yoto Hime's skill throws her sword forward, where it lingers for several seconds, spinning in the air and trapping foes in a vortex of damage. Yoto Hime can also teleport to the sword, making it handy for closing longer distances.

Her ultimate is even better, dealing heavy damage with large slashes and recovering Yoto Hime's armor and health with each hit. She's not too difficult to learn, so a great choice for a new player to pick up.

Ziping Yin is a relatively straightforward support character who offers plenty of sustain, though she's not a pure healer, so won't be as impactful in that role as Kurumi. Her S2 gives her immunity to light attack stagger, allowing her to escape more easily, making her a viable choice in solos.

Justina is a slightly less versatile fighter who relies on her ultimate to bump up her damage output, but her skill is still one of the most useful in the game. It freezes Justina and her allies solid for a few seconds, making them impervious to damage and restoring armor while the effect lasts. It's ideal for interrupting combos, and you can break out early to surprise your opponents with a flurry of attacks.

Justina's ultimate increases her attack power with each strike and freezes enemies either on hit or, if you opt for a different form of the ability, by trapping them in an icy fog.

Tianhai has excellent potential as a support character and can deal tremendous damage with his ultimate. Divine Bell, his skill, blocks incoming focus attacks and repels ranged attacks. It's essentially a free parry that can work as soon as the animation starts, and even though you can use it while under attack, you can't use it during a stun lock. It's a handy skill, but not essential in that regard.

Tianhai's ultimate is what really makes him shine. He turns into a Vajra for a short period and can grab and smash opponents, dealing significant amounts of damage. Better yet, if he grabs allies while in this form, he can heal them. However, if you're playing alone, he might not be the best choice.

Takeda Nobutada has strong potential, but a few glaring weaknesses hold him back. His skill lets him counter focus attacks and disarm his attacker - but it's not much use if your opponent doesn't use a focus attack. Considering how many combos you can use without even launching a normal attack, it leaves you without a useful skill in some cases.

His ultimate summons a sealed demon that executes sevearl powerful slashes and lets Takeda Nobutada teleport to him.

  4. Each hero can choose from 3 different ultimates. Instead of having regular cooldowns, ultimates can be used after the Rage gauge has been filled. Each ultimate have their own set Rage Limit value. A character restores about 225 Rage per second (without accounting any additional effect).
