For the solar panel - compare the claimed watts to a similar panel from a known source. I did this for some cheap ebay ones and it came out massively higher for the cheap ones - and they came out massively higher, which seems unlikely.
With proper monitoring you should be able to see if any panels stop working and fuses are cheap. (I am also ignoring the freight for the shipping as thats likely not a horrible price if you were to buy like 20 panels.) My sills are almost but not quite electrician. (Electronics tech and do a fair bit of 5v - 480v troubleshooting at work.)
