The Royal Academy of Arts (RA) is an art institution based in Burlington House in Piccadilly in London, England. Founded in 1768, it has a unique position as an independent, privately funded institution led by eminent artists and architects.

The Royal Academy Collection of paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, historic books, archives, historic photographs and plaster casts can be searched online. Currently, only works of art which have been digitised are available on the website. More images are added each month, and in due course all records will be made available.
Mary Moser RA (1744 - 1819) One of only two female Founder members of the Royal Academy, Mary Moser was highly celebrated in her own lifetime and greatly admired for her paintings of flowers. Mary was the only daughter of the Swiss artist George Michael Moser.
Our Collection spans 250 years of British art, from Constable and Turner to Hockney and Emin. It now contains about 935 paintings, 350 sculptures, 700 plaster casts, 25,000 prints and drawings and 5,000 historic photographs.
