Marek Piestrak (ur. 31 marca 1938 w Krakowie) – polski reżyser i scenarzysta filmowy. Życiorys. W 1961 roku ukończył Wydziale Budownictwa Wodnego Politechniki Gdańskiej [1]. Następnie ukończył studia na Wydziale Reżyserii w łódzkiej Szkole Filmowej PWSTiF (1968) [2]. Odbywał praktyki w Hollywood przy filmie Dziecko Rosemary Romana Polańskiego.

Curse of Snakes Valley (Polish: Klątwa doliny węży) is a 1988 Polish-Soviet adventure science fiction horror film directed by Marek Piestrak. The screenplay is loosely based on the Robert Stratton short story The Hobby of Dr. Traven, which was published by the end of 1970s in the Polish magazine Przekrój.
