   I've used Demonoid as my primary tracker since 2006. TPB is a backup (mostly used for foreign stuff). Pretty much every other publicly available tracker pales in comparison to Demonoid. Mind, I do use some private trackers, but they're not as full as Demonoid was.

   • For me, Demonoid was and still is the most complete tracker when it comes to reading in general. Ebooks, magazines, comics and audiobooks were all over the place, constantly being updated and adding to one already huge library.    Is Demonoid still good?

   • This isn't like when SuprNova went down and we didn't have any big trackers for a while. TPB still exists, and is still great. If you follow safe downloading practices (enforcing encryption, not hopping on anything too new) you'll be fine. IMHO one of the best features of Demonoid was the ability to filter movies by video quality.

   What if Demonoid had a site backup?

   • I would stay far the fuck away from this. If Demonoid's admins had site backups they easily could have had the site back up in under a day on another host. Instead, 4 months later it comes limping back online, that makes no sense. It's also known that the original server was handed over to the US government.
