Adam Foote, better known online as The Handpan Man (also known as Ethereal In E), is an American YouTuber known for playing the handpan. He gained popularity from YouTube Shorts.
He grew up on a farm where his family grew tomatoes. When he was 6, he got a third-degree burn on his foot for stepping on a steam pipe, and almost had to get it amputated. At age 11, his father died of suicide.[citation needed]
He joined YouTube on September 12, 2016. He uploaded his first video, which is him playing his first handpan in the snow. The video was also a reupload of his most popular video on Facebook.
In November 2021, his channel started to gain popularity due to YouTube Shorts.
On YouTube, he usually share his life, comparisons of the handpan in different effects, tell questions, and more. He also does livestreams.
•His channel name was named after his first handpan, which was tuned to E minor.
•He also tried to find a word that starts with an E, which was "ethereal" as it means "heavenly sounding".
