- For Honor. When SoulCalibur was discussed, I talked about how it was on the list because it did have a Samurai in the gameplay. But with For Honor, it gets to be here because you and others can play as a whole faction of Samurai, or Knights, or Vikings.
- Samurai Jack Battle Through Time. This game means a lot to me, so it gets high up on the list for that reason alone. Samurai Jack Battle Through Time is a game that is actually canon to the beloved Samurai Jack series.
- Samurai Shodown. Often times, Samurai games focus on a lot of blitzing style combat, not really showing off the finesse and styles that the Samurai warriors were actually known for.

- SoulCalibur VI. Even though it’s a game that combines fighting styles from all over the world, SoulCalibur VI features one of the most iconic Samurai fighters in the history of video games in Mitsurugi.
- Nioh 2. Another fantasy samurai game would be the Souls-like Nioh series, the latest being Nioh 2. It's more liberal in its use of monsters and demons compared to Onimusha, and it's certainly not a game for those looking to have casual fun and fulfillment.

I came here to see if anyone had suggested the Way of the Samurai games, and I agree they are a great go-to if you’re looking to scratch that samurai game itch. WotS3 is by far my favorite in terms of story and has the best weapon creation system, while WotS4 is just wacky fun with the better character customization.
