Gavin James Robinson (born 22 November 1984) is a Northern Irish unionist politician and barrister who has served as Leader of the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) since March 2024. [a] [3] He served as Deputy DUP Leader from June 2023 to May 2024.
Gavin was elected as the Member of Parliament for East Belfast on 7th May 2015 and has since been re-elected in 2017 and 2019. He is currently the DUP spokesperson for Defence and Home Affairs. He also sits on the Defence Committee. Gavin was elected as the Deputy Leader of the DUP on 9th June 2023.
