This month’s Manilow TV is my favorite of all the network specials that we did. It’s called “Big Fun on Swing Street” and it’s very hard to find. It aired on CBS on March 7, 1988, a couple months after we released the “Swing Street” album. Bruce, Jack and I wrote a concept hour for the show.
Swing Street is the twelfth studio album by composer and singer Barry Manilow, released in 1987. Three of the tracks on the album featured Manilow in a duet with another singer. The tracks were recorded at various locations.
