The Academy of the Holy Cross is a Catholic college preparatory school sponsored by the Sisters of the Holy Cross and founded in 1868. The academy is located on a 28-acre (110,000 m 2 ) campus [ citation needed ] in North Bethesda, Maryland ( Kensington postal address), [4] [5] north of Washington, D.C.
For over 156 years Holy Cross has prepared girls to feel confident taking academic risks, leading their peers, and standing up for their beliefs. Guided by our Catholic faith and the mission of the Sisters of the Holy Cross, we believe in the power of academic excellence and the potential of selfless generosity.

Holy Cross Church is a historic church and home to an active parish in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Columbus located in the Discovery District neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. The Gothic Revival building was completed in 1848 and is the oldest church in Columbus.
