Garforth Academy (formerly known as Garforth Comprehensive School until September 1992 and Garforth Community College until November 2010) is a secondary school and sixth form for pupils aged 11–18 and is located on Lidgett Lane (B6137) in Garforth, West Yorkshire, England.
The Academy promotes “EBacc for All” meaning all students study the core curriculum of English, Mathematics, Science, Geography or History, MFL, Physical Education and LIFE. This takes up approximately 80% of curriculum time. Students are then able to choose from a wide range of courses in Key Stage 4, leading to both GCSE and BTEC qualifications.
