Budgie is a 1970s ITV comedy-drama starring pop singer Adam Faith as a hapless petty criminal. The series follows his misadventures with his boss, Charlie Endell, and his girlfriend, Hazel Fletcher.
Budgie were a Welsh heavy metal band from Cardiff. The band formed in 1967, and recorded a demo the following year. In 1971, their first album (of blues-oriented hard rock), produced by Rodger Bain, was released by MCA.
