The stop-motion freature film Hakkebakkeskogen aka “In the Forest of Huckbucky” had its premiere the 25th of December 2016. Based on Thorbjørn Egner’s beloved classic from 1952, the film features recompositions by the band Katzenjammer of the original songs by Egner & Hartmann.
In the Forest of Huckybucky (Norwegian: Dyrene i Hakkebakkeskogen) is a 2016 Norwegian stop-motion animated musical film adaptation of the 1953 children's book Claus Climbermouse and the other animals in the Huckybucky forest by Thorbjørn Egner, directed by Rasmus A. Sivertsen and written by Karsten Fullu.
