Golden Orchestra! In her first leading role, Anne Watanabe is Chizuru, a teacher who spends her student days playing violin in an orchestra. She looks to enter the local Umegaoka Philharmonic Orchestra, but instead accidentally joins the closely-named “Umegaoka Symphony Orchestra," which is full of old men and women.
Chizuru leads an amateur orchestra full of old people.

When the new teacher at the high school, who has played violin since her school days, hears a local amateur orchestra her interest is rekindled and she determines to join. Being new and unfamiliar with the town she accidentally enrolls in an orchestra comprised of the elderly.
When Chizuru joins as a teacher at Umega High School, she hears an amateur orchestra perform. Reminiscing her old days of playing the violin, she decides to enroll in one.
