Jan 17, 2024 · The BBC has agreed to sell its Elstree Centre complex in Hertfordshire, where EastEnders and other programmes are filmed, to insurance giant Axa. The broadcaster will lease back the EastEnders set and continue production on the site for at least another 25 years.
