Alfonso Cuarón Orozco (US: / k w ɑː ˈ r oʊ n / kwar-OHN, Spanish: [alˈfonso kwaˈɾon] ⓘ; born 28 November 1961) is a Mexican filmmaker. His accolades include four Academy Awards, seven BAFTA Awards, and three Golden Globe Awards.
Alfonso Cuarón signed a three-year first-look deal with Warner Brothers, which allowed his films to be distributed world-wide. He directed one five-minute segment of the anthology film Paris, I Love You (2006) with Nick Nolte and Ludivine Sagnier .
