At the start of the 2017/18 season, Bürki made history by becoming the first goalkeeper to keep five clean sheets in the first five Bundesliga games. During his seven-year tenure with Dortmund, he totaled 83 clean sheets in 232 appearances, and helped the club to three trophies: the DFB-Pokal (2016/17 and 2020/21) and the DFL-Supercup (2019).
