Richard John Ridings (born 19 September 1958) is an English actor. He portrayed Alan Ashburn in the ITV television drama Fat Friends, Bernard Green in the BBC One comedy-drama Common as Muck, Mr. Bumble in the BBC series Dickensian, and is the voice of Daddy Pig in Peppa Pig.
Richard Ridings was born on 19 September 1958 in Henley-on-Thames, England, UK. He is an actor and composer, known for Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988), The Pianist (2002) and Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011). He has been married to Catherine Jensen since 1984. They have two children.
