Dora Gerson was the stage name of Dorothea Sluizer-Gerson, a German Jewish performer who fled to the Netherlands and Switzerland in the 1930s. She starred in cabarets, revues and films, and was married to Max Sluizer, who was killed in Auschwitz with their children.
