Neil Patrick Jordan (born 25 February 1950) is an Irish film director, screenwriter, novelist and short-story writer. He first achieved recognition for his short story collection, Night in Tunisia, which won the Guardian Fiction Prize in 1979.
Neil Jordan is a multi-award-winning filmmaker who has written and directed acclaimed films such as The Crying Game, Michael Collins, and The Butcher Boy. He has also created TV series such as The Borgias and Riviera, and has a new project, The Well of Saint Nobody, in pre-production.
