Mud Slide Slim and the Blue Horizon is the third studio album by American singer-songwriter James Taylor, released in April 1971 by Warner Bros. Records. The album was recorded between early January and late February of the same year.

Jan 12, 2022 · Mitchell's timeline creates some confusion, considering "See You Sometime" came out a year after "Mud Slide Slim" did. One can only theorize that either Mitchell is mistaken about the timing, or that she wrote the song and shared it with Taylor before his album came out.
