Kōichi Mashimo (真下 耕一, Mashimo Kōichi, sometimes credited as Kouchi Mashimo or Kouichi Mashimo) (born June 21, 1952) is a Japanese former anime director and the founder of the animation studio Bee Train.
Noted founder and C.E.O. of BEE TRAIN animation studios. In the mid 1970's he began his animation carrer as a director with Tatsunoko Productions, debuting as an Assistant Director on Time Bokan (1975).
Kôichi Mashimo was born on 21 June 1952 in Tokyo, Japan. He is a director and writer, known for .hack//SIGN (2002), Madlax (2004) and Future Police Urashiman (1983).
