In many ways, EDEN's album is Gothic without the Rock - dramatic works with deep sonorous vocals, set against distinctive compositions using cello, hammered dulcimer, drifty atmospherics and sharply gated drums.
In 1987 Bourke formed the Melbourne-based electronic pop rock band Eden, providing keyboards, rhythm programming and percussion. Fellow founders were Sean Bowley (ex-All Things Unseen) on vocals and guitar, and Ross Healy on bass guitar.
