Wei Lu Research Group My group works on energy storage and electrochemistry; machine learning; simulation of nano/microstructure evolution; mechanics in nano/micro systems; advanced manufacturing; mechanical properties and performance of advanced materials and relation to microstructures.
Wei Lu is a professor of electrical engineering and computer science at UM, with research interests in memory, logic, neuromorphic and nanowire devices. He is an IEEE Fellow, a co-founder of Crossbar and MemryX, and a prolific author of papers on memristors, memristive systems and ionic modulation.
Wei Lu, an internationally recognized leader in the development of memristors for memory and logic applications, has been named the James R. Mellor Professor of Engineering, effective January 1, 2024.
