Biography - Andrea Calderwood. Andrea began to sing jazz at 12, infulenced by her bass playing father. While in college, she sang in the downbeat award winning "Singcopation" under the direction of Bruce Rogers, and went on to sing with Doc Severson, the Boston Pops, John Williams, and the L.A. Philharmonic.
Andrea Calderwood (born Glasgow, 1965) began her career as a freelance production manager and location manager in Scotland, and also ran the independent company Crash Films, producing documentaries, short dramas and music videos. Head of Drama, BBC Scotland, 1994–1997.
