Gascoigne first entered therapy sessions in October 1998 when he was admitted into Priory Hospital after a drinking session where he drank 32 shots of whisky, which left him at "rock bottom"; then-manager Bryan Robson signed him into the clinic whilst Gascoigne was unconscious.
Aug 16, 2021 · The University is saddened to announce the death of Brian Gascoigne, who had just successfully completed the foundation degree in Addictions Counselling. Brian died suddenly of natural causes on 19 July, aged 61.
