Since 2004 Kirsten Niehuus has been the CEO of Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, Germany’s Capital Region. Since then she has been responsible for Film and High-end TV funding. As a lawyer she has been engaged in entertainment and funding law since 1991.
Kirsten Niehuus has been Medienboard's CEO of Film Funding since 2004. Prior to that she worked in the film industry in various positions including as a lawyer for the German national film fund - Filmförderungsanstalt (FFA) in Berlin and then as the acting director of the FFA.
