Hypothetically, if Apollo knew how powerful Ivan Drago was, could Apollo have changed his training and beat Drago? Like if Apollo did the same training Rocky did to beat Drago. Or was Apollo simply TOO OLD by that point for more intense training to make a difference? I know Apollo is like 5 to 7 years older than Rocky.

Together, they prepared Rocky to beat Clubber Lang (Mr. T) but it's Balboa's fight with Thunderlips (Hulk Hogan) in Rocky III that may explain Rocky's miraculous victory against Drago.
Surely, Drago should have killed him or hospitalised him mid way during their fight, there is statistically no way Rocky should have won that fight right? Drago had an average 1850 psi, also wasn’t Drago 50 pounds heavier and like 5 inches taller just seems like there was no way for Rocky to win that fight
