First off, massive fan of the OG game. I've been playing for about 3 hours, I've killed three "Bosses?" The last major upgrade I've got is the grapple hook for the bot. I'm really not gelling with this game. Should I just drop it now or does the gameplay improve massively in the next couple of hours?
Jul 14, 2022 · Axiom Verge 2 felt like a MV made just for me. Perfectly enjoyable combat but also encounters are few and far in between and skippable. Focus on exploration, world building, and atmosphere (incredible soundtrack). Large toolset of items/weapons that lead to some great sequence break opportunities.

Dec 26, 2021 · Axiom verge, both 1 and 2, are really good for being made by one person. Take it from someone who's trying to develop a game themselves, it's difficult to come up with fun mechanics, great art, and catchy music.
