When you connect it to the tablet, do you see any indication that the keyboard is recognized? Do you have any tablet covers that might interfere with full pin contact, proper alignment, etc.?

Use magnets to help hold it up while you place and cut it if you’re doing this alone. I used magnets to help hold it in place while trimming the edges carefully. Trim with an xacto knife.
