Pele's Fireworks is an absolute belter. If you haven't heard it, stop dilly-dallying and buy it. In the early 90s I had no idea why this LP wasn't huge. I still don't. Huge, tuneful songs, great lyrics and fantastic bounce-along instrumentation. Lead singer Prowse is still out there and performing these songs - often as Amsterdam.

Pele were from Ellesmere Port and consisted of front man Ian Prowse and keyboard player Andrew Roberts, but swelled to a six piece for live shows. 'Fireworks'is given the old spit and polish /remaster and scrubs up very well today. Pretty much every one of the twelve tracks on this edition could stand up as a single in its own right.
